Perspectives are different frameworks from which to explore the knowledge around sustainable sanitation and water management. Perspectives are like filters: they compile and structure the information that relate to a given focus theme, region or context. This allows you to quickly navigate to the content of your particular interest while promoting the holistic understanding of sustainable sanitation and water management.
The IUWMP Journey is your step-by-step guide to building an Integrated Urban Wastewater Management Plan in line with Directive (EU) 2024/3019, Annex V. It takes you from the groundwork (Stage 0) through system understanding, objective-setting, measure selection, and monitoring, covering the full planning cycle in a practitioner-oriented sequence.
The stages are sequential by design: each one builds on the outputs of the last, so the Journey is best worked through in order. Where a WATERUN Tool provides a solution for a particular stage, whether for monitoring, modelling, or decision support, you will be pointed to the right place. You can move between the IUWMP Journey and the Tools at any point.
