WATERUN Case Studies
The WATERUN project was trialled across three contrasting real-world catchments: Santiago de Compostela in Spain, Aarhus in Denmark, and Amman in Jordan. These case studies represent deliberately different conditions in terms of climate, land use, pollution profile, and degree of existing infrastructure, to stress-test the methodology and tools across a range of urban realities.
Each case study factsheet shows how the IUWMP Journey and the WATERUN Tools were applied in practice, what was learned, and what proved transferable. Whether your city shares one of these contexts or sits somewhere in between, the case studies offer reference points for planning your own approach.
