IUWMP Journey

The IUWMP Journey is your step-by-step guide to building an Integrated Urban Wastewater Management Plan in line with Directive (EU) 2024/3019, Annex V. It takes you from the groundwork (Stage 0) through system understanding, objective-setting, measure selection, and monitoring, covering the full planning cycle in a practitioner-oriented sequence.

The stages are sequential by design: each one builds on the outputs of the last, so the Journey is best worked through in order. Where a WATERUN Tool provides a solution for a particular stage, whether for monitoring, modelling, or decision support, you will be pointed to the right place.
